該數據庫系統採用面向對象程序設計方法，用visualc + + 6 . 0作為應用程序的前端開發工具，用microsoftaccess2000做數據庫，不僅實現了對雷達基數據信息的一些基本操作：記錄信息添加、刪除、修改、查詢，還實現了處理、分析雷達基數據所需的一些操作：數據導出，數據格式轉換、數據回顯（圖像方式和動畫方式） 、數據壓縮、備份等，另外針對日前雷達臺站存儲雷達數據的現狀，還實現了對存儲光盤的管理。
