首先，運用邊際對偶理論對競價制度進行原理分析，運用存貨理論對做市商制度進行原理分析，通過比較兩種交易制度的異同和各自的優缺點得出：股本較小、股東人數較少的股票在做市商市場上流動性較高，交易成本較小；而股本規模大，股東人數多的股票在指令驅動市場上流動性較高，交易成本較低。
