    本文通過分析歷史文化名城自貢的鹽業工業遺產旅遊資源，運用地理學的文化景觀理論、城市學的歷史文化名城保護理論和旅遊可持續發展理論，借鑒國內外同類型城市旅遊開發的成功經驗，提出了自貢市鹽文化旅遊開發的思路和策略，旨在為自貢城市旅遊找到一條最能凸現其特色的可持續發展途徑，同時也希望通過本文的研究對自貢井鹽文化申請世界遺產貢獻綿薄之力，也為國內同類旅遊資源城市的旅遊開發提供可借鑒之處。
