北京武協宗勛武館成立於1994年，由意拳第二代掌門人姚宗勛先生的長子，北京武協意拳研究會會長，著名武術家姚承光先生任館長及總教練，並有吳燮煦賀仲晨高玉林趙支援項續彬崔明才胡士福所組成的理事會，亞洲武術聯合會副主席香港意拳協會會長霍震寰先生任名譽館長。
