當電梯經常出現關人、夾人、不平層、沖頂、蹲底、電梯司機或維修人員無上崗證、司機經常脫崗，轎廂內無檢驗合格證或合格證過期，電梯有異常噪音或聲響，異常振動或抖動，轎廂內有異常焦糊味，電梯速度過快或過慢，維修保養不及時，電梯轎廂內無通訊或報警裝置等，均可進行質量或安全投訴。
