本文首先對新聞娛樂化定義予以界定，指出它與新聞通俗化、平民化並非同義語；然後分析這一現象在我國媒介中的具體表現及產生的根源，特別指出經濟利益是新聞娛樂化產生的原動力；對于該現象的評價，本文認為既不能全盤肯定也不能全盤否定；在全文分析的基礎上，本文提出三點對策和建議：一是媒介從業人員應該從認識上廓清兩個問題：新聞娛樂化不等於新聞的平民化，新聞價值不能本末倒置，二是強化新聞專業主義，三是實行媒體的分流發展。 -
