After analyzed and studied on some algorithms about how to simplify a complex 3d geometric model from home and abroad, this paper proposes the concept of divisional envelope pitch and ameliorates the method of envelope ' s conformation proposed by cohen using the dichotomy in linear search. when a triangle is selected and contracted tentatively, two corresponding divisional envelope pitches should be constructed at first. the divisional envelope pitch is a bit of the whole simplification envelope
本文對當前國內外有關幾何模型的簡化演算法進行了分析和研究后，將三角形收縮簡化操作與包絡控制簡化誤差的方法相結合，利用一維線性搜索中的二分法改進了cohen提出的簡化包絡構造演算法；隨后又綜合簡化包絡的誤差控制方法和二次誤差矩陣的局部性誤差控制思想，提出了一種分解式包絡片的概念。
