Article 5 when a quarantinable epidemic victim is discovered by the health and quarantine organ, measures must be taken promptly in accordance with the rules stipulated in chapter viii of these rules to place him in isolation and prevent other persons from being infected
第五條衛生檢疫機關發現染疫人時，應當立即將其隔離，防止任何人遭受感染，並按照本細則第八章的規定處理。 -
" quarantinable epidemic victim " means a person who suffers from quarantinable infectious disease or a person who has been proved through primary diagnosis by the health and quarantine organ to have caught the quarantinable infectious disease or have become an incubation carrier
「染疫人」指正在患檢疫傳染病的人，或者經衛生檢疫機關初步診斷，認為已經感染檢疫傳染病或者已經處于檢疫傳染病潛伏期的人。
