若我求神救我脫離試煉，而非求他使我在試煉中得著釋放，好讓他的榮耀得著頌贊；若我忘卻十字架的道路是引到十字架，而非通向滿布花朵的堤岸；若這樣的觀念制約了我的生命，或甚至不自覺地左右了我的思想，以致當道路坎坷崎嶇時我會覺得驚訝，覺得奇怪，雖然經上的話說：不要以為奇怪（似乎是遭遇非常的事） ，倒要歡喜…那我就還是絲毫不懂加略山的愛。
