    這次培訓為期3天。培訓由阿壩州委袁禮忠副秘書長主持。培訓會上，四川省畜牧食品局李昌平副局長作了「牧區畜牧業發展與科技」的專題報告省畜牧食品局蘭明建副局長作了「四川畜牧業產業化發展戰略」報告四川省草原科學研究院澤柏所院長作了「草地畜牧業可持續發展」的報告加拿大草原畜牧業專家巴圖作了「加拿大草原畜牧業可持續發展經驗和內蒙古海拉爾草地畜牧業可持續發展過程進展」的報告四川師范大學資源與環境學院院長張宏教授作了關于「西部大開發中生態建設與經濟發展關系」的報告。

    此次培訓邀請了加拿大農業部韋斯布里奇研究院牧場管理專家walter willms教授和內蒙古農業大學牧場生態專家趙萌莉教授，四川省草原科學研究院院長草地管理專家澤柏，牧草種植育種專家李才旺卞志高，氂牛飼養育種專家羅光榮楊平貴，就提高牲畜生產的放牧管理制度，牧場健康和草地生態系統服務評估，天然草地放牧管理及草地共管和草畜平衡，冬春打貯草基地與免耕種草技術，氂牛適時出欄和氂牛雜交改良技術氂牛本品種選育等先進經驗模式進行了介紹。
