筆者從黨員教師先進性要求的內涵及現狀分析著手，提出保持高校黨員先進性的對策： （ 1 ）持之以恆地開展黨性教育，提高黨員教師的思想政治素質； （ 2 ）努力營造校園環境，提高黨員教師的政治榮譽感和責任感； （ 3 ）健全考核機制，為保持黨員個體先進性提供製度保障； （ 4 ）實施黨員形象工程，創新黨員保持先進性的載體； （ 5 ）啟動自我教育、自我管理和自我監督標桿，增強黨員教師自律意識。
