應用有機地球化學和構造地質學理論和方法對鄂爾多斯盆地奧陶系天然氣地質研究中薄弱環節成藏要素和作用進行了系統科學分析。利用烴源巖生氣定量熱模擬技術、熱模擬在線碳同位素實驗技術、氣體輕烴和生物標志物分析技術、運聚成藏物理模擬技術和包裹體中碳同位素分析技術等多種先進的實驗技術對烴源巖的生氣機理、氣源和混合比、成藏史、充注路徑、運移方向和構造作用與成藏關系等問題進行了深入的研究，在前人研究的基礎上，經過本次大量的實驗分析和綜合研究，提出了一些新的認識。 -

通過勘探早期地質物化探綜合找油方法實驗，筆者總結了一套適合志丹探區石油地質特點的勘探方法組合和勘探程序：油氣地球化學勘探（酸解烴、吸附烴、熒光光譜、紫外光譜、甲烷碳同位素、蝕變碳酸巖）化探圈定的有利勘探區進行非地震物探（自然電位、伽瑪能譜、高精度磁測、土壤測氧）物探圈定的異常區進行電阻率測深勘探地質物化探成果綜合評價。 -

本論文運用~ （ 14 ） c年代學、沉積學、同位素地質學、地貌學等學科的有關理論，通過對岷江疊溪古堰塞湖湖相沉積物的研究，採用沉積物碳酸鹽碳氧同位素等多環境代用指標，研究岷江疊溪地區距今約22千年10千年古氣候演化規律，討論了古堰塞湖形成演化過程與地質環境的相關性。
