本作品河床，以大河孕育文化做為作品創作發想點，加入現代社會的生活休憩概念，將五組象徵大自然中河川交匯的床型花崗巖雕塑，架設于卵石所鋪設而成的基隆河之上基隆河的河道造型則保持截彎取直前的原貌，並以少流量的水流，薄薄地覆蓋五組床型雕塑品，床板上散落的楓葉與果實，則象徵環保理念對大自然保育的重要性。 -
