首先，針對fed顯示器現存的亮度不均勻、灰度失真等質量缺陷和fed驅動系統功耗較高的問題進行了分析討論和歸納總結;其次，根據成熟的數字圖像處理方法和fpga技術，結合fed顯示屏的自身特性，提出通過電路設計來改善、提高fed圖像顯示質量的新方法與新思路;然後將其應用於低逸出功印刷型25英寸vga級彩色fed驅動系統中;最後，對經過圖像處理的fed演示樣機的圖像質量進行了分析與評價。
