用3種地骨皮（枸杞根皮、寧夏枸杞根皮、北方枸杞根皮）原生藥總提取物灌喂大、小白鼠，測定它們對白鼠的解熱和降血糖作用.結果表明：枸杞根皮和寧夏枸杞根皮對角叉菜膠致熱的大白鼠有明顯的解熱作用；北方枸杞雖也有明顯解熱作用，但其作用強度弱於枸杞和寧夏枸杞. 3種枸杞根皮中僅枸杞根皮對四氧嘧啶小白鼠有明顯降血糖作用，其餘2種地骨皮降血糖作用不甚明顯 -
