在長白山地區蝗蟲生態分佈特點的研究中，主要應用spss軟體包、採用euclideandistance測度法對以下兩方面內容進行了分析： （ 1 ）對長白山地區蝗蟲地理分佈關系進行了分析，將長白山9個林帶劃分為三大生境型：低山針闊葉混交林帶、低山長白松林帶和中高山針葉?岳樺?苔原復合體； （ 2 ）利用離差平方和法對生態種組進行等級聚類，結合實地調查結果，將48種蝗蟲劃分為三大類12個生態種組。
