大連市碧流河水庫供水工程取水頭部由引水渡槽、節制閘、進水閘、泄水閘等建築物組成。由於本工程場地條件限制，增設旁通管后布置非常緊湊，管道急轉角度大且轉彎距離較小，對于管內水流流態是否滿足要求，需要經過模型試驗進行論證，以確保工程的可靠性。旁通管具有上水與泄水要求，對其過流能力也要經試驗確定，為碧流河水庫增建旁通管設計提供依據。
