但傳統專家系統只能處理顯性的表面的知識，存在推理能力弱，智能水平低，而且知識獲取難等缺點，所以本文引入了人工神經網路技術來克服傳統專家系統的不足，來試圖解決農業系統中存在的關系復雜、邊界模糊、不確定性強等難于用規則或數學模型嚴格描述的問題。
