本文在已有研究成果的基礎上，對大面積軟土深基坑開挖時土層變位理論及應用進行了探討：依據現場監測數據，推導出開挖時軟土變形的經驗公式，分析了軟土深基開挖在圍護結構剛度大、基坑防滲效果好的條件下，基坑土層變位、圍護結構受力破壞發展的主要原因。
