本設計在嵌入式實時多任務操作系統（ rtos ）基礎上對現有的光網路節點設備（ mstp和oadm / oxc設備）的網元管理控制器（ mcp ）的軟體進行擴展，增加路由、信令和鏈路資源管理等功能模塊，實現了ason控制平面的基本功能，及波長路由光網路中交換式連接的波長lsp的建立、刪除和維護等操作。
