本文的著眼點和研究的目的在於，希望利用在血流動力學方面的研究優勢，用有限元方法對動脈粥樣硬化的血流動力學問題進行數值模擬，研究動脈粥樣硬化在生成和發展過程中的血流動力學、血管壁生理及生物力學性能的變化規律，以及這兩種變化規律之間的相互作用與動脈粥樣硬化的發生和發展的關系，通過大量算例的對比分析，以期在這方面作些基礎而有實際價值的工作。
