Abstract : fatigue cracks in ship hull structures are most likely to occur in the highly stressed structural details. the conventional fatigue analysis is largely dependent on the determination of stress concentration factors ( scfs ) at the locations considered. this paper is concerned with the stress concentration of cutout in transverse web for longitudinal stiffener. a series of finite element models is carried out for the stress analysis of predefined structural details. the tabulated scfs of typical cutouts ( abs tanker rules ) in transverse web for longitudinal stiffeners are presented based on the finite element analysis ( fea ) results

The prime goal of this paper is to conduct the fatigue analysis for certain type of structural details of 12300t ro / ro vessel by means of three different approaches stated in dnv classification notes " the fatigue assessment for ship structures " and contrast the results from the three different methods. firstly, the key points of dnv fatigue assessment are addressed, and then the fatigue strength of some nodes concerned is conducted using the simplified analysis provided by dnv fatigue assessment rules.
本文以dnv疲勞評估規范為指導，以12300噸滾裝船為依託，探討了dnv疲勞評估規范中不同方法之間的差異，其主要內容包括： 1 、對dnv疲勞評估方法的要點做以說明，利用dnv疲勞評估文獻提供的簡化方法對感興趣的節點進行疲勞評估。
