( 1 ) based on the experiments, this thesis discusses the stress loss of vertical prestress caused by deformation of anchorage, the resilience of the tendon and the joint compression ( l2 ), the elastic compression of the concrete ( l4 ) and the relaxation of the tendon ( l5 ). it is concluded that the anchorage deformation is dominated in vertical stress loss. measures are suggested to diminish the loss of the vertical prestress during the design and construction of the bridge
