本文在甘肅白水江自然保護區碧峰溝通過野外調查、定點定時觀察、實驗地飼養、標記重捕等方法研究了碧峰溝的蝶類多樣性並進行了局部瀕危評估；研究了四種重要蝶類的生物學特性；對長尾麝鳳蝶的生境、自然種群生命表、種群結構、種群移動性進行了深入研究，並估測了各種種群參數，分析了種群發展趨勢。
