本文通過對來自我國吐哈、遼河、勝利、鄂爾多斯、四川和加拿大等地區油氣田的650個砂巖和碳酸鹽巖樣品壓汞測試資料及物性數據的分析研究，成功發現了對于孔隙性巖石（無論是砂巖還是碳酸鹽巖） ，巖石孔隙度和滲透率（特別是滲透率）與巖樣不同孔喉大小的體積分佈有密切的相關性，並首次建立了儲層孔喉體積分佈反演預測模型。
