瘧疾一種傳染性疾病，癥狀為周期性地感到冷、熱和發汗，病因是寄生於紅血球的一種瘧原蟲屬原生動物，這種動物通過已感染病菌的雌性瘧蚊傳播。Most infected people look healthy and have no signs or symptoms. however, even asymptomatic infected people can transmit the virus to others. some infected people may have symptoms like tiredness, fever, poor appetite, weight loss, diarrhoea, night sweat and swollen glands. as the hiv disease progresses with time, the patient will develop more serious illnesses
