研究表明，本區石炭?二疊紀烴源巖在中生代發生一次生烴和排烴，並有油氣充注，后因燕山運動導致地層抬升，一次生烴和成藏過程中止；在早第三紀，原來東傾的地層變為西傾，斷塊圈閉開始具雛形；至早第三紀沙二末期，石炭?二疊系的大部分地層古地溫再次超過中生代一次生烴的溫度，開始二次生烴和排烴，圈閉持續發育；晚第三紀末?第四紀，二次生烴、排烴達到高峰，二次成藏完成。
