本文首次將人工神經網路系統方法引入了船撞橋概率的研究當中，編制了計算程序，成功地以現有12座典型橋梁的基礎數據為樣本，以橋梁跨徑、水流流速、水流方向與橋軸法線的夾角以及橋區航道彎曲度等4個船撞橋主要影響因素為輸入參數，以船撞橋概率為輸出參數，經訓練得到了能較好地反映上述輸入參數影響的船撞橋概率判斷系統。
