本論文根據準軌貨車強度設計標準，對準軌、米軌差異較大部分，特別針對其縱向載荷進行了研究計算，編制了計算機模擬程序，求解了米軌貨物列車在牽引、制動等工況下車鉤間的最大縱向作用力，並結合昆明鐵路局米軌線路的實際運用情況，制定出了米軌貨車強度設計與試驗鑒定準則。
