    盆栽試驗中鎘對紫花苜蓿的出苗率、根、莖的生物量的影響與種子的萌發呈現同一規律；鎘在紫花苜蓿體內的含量也與土壤中鎘濃度有關：低濃度0 ? 6mg kg時，紫花苜蓿根部的鎘含量低於莖、葉中的鎘含量，但己超出我國飼料衛生標準2倍，濃度大於10mg / kg時，根部的鎘含量比飼料衛生標準高出20倍，而土壤中鎘含量大大降低，所以此時的紫花苜蓿是修復鎘污染土壤的較好的植物；當加200mg kg鋅后，鎘的毒害作用明顯減小，隨著生長時間的增長，生物量受鎘的影響也在減小，同時紫花苜蓿體內的鎘含量大幅度降低，有些己降到飼料標準以下。
