為此，本文首次提出了球齒輪傳動中若干新概念，新名詞，並對物理含義作了完整的定義；提出了球齒輪機構的正確嚙合條件和連續傳動條件；利用空間嚙合理論，證明了一對漸開線環形齒廓互為共軛齒廓，能實現精確的定傳動比球面運動。
