本文利用4個包含字元背景分信息布的參數，實現了背景色的統一；在預處理中提出了一種基於灰度期望的改進二值化演算法；字元分割階段在豎直投影法的基礎上，提出利用自適應的字元寬度和字元的凹凸信息將牌照分割為單個字元；最後使用bp神經網路進行字元的識別。
