本文以解決實際應用中的gps數據採集和處理問題為目標，將掌上電腦與gps相結合，利用掌上電腦輕巧便攜、通訊能力強等特點，開發基於掌上電腦的gps數據採集器，實現採集處理數據、定位、導航、存儲等功能，代替筆記本電腦和gps接收機手簿工作，將操作人員從負荷中解放出來。
