Abstract : the principle of electro - differential - constant temperature detector ( edctd ) is summarized. a calculation method for selecting resistance value in the measurement circuit based on the sensitivity requirement is proposed. theoretical analysis and experimental result for the method are also given. the proposed method can be applied to production and calibration of edctd, providing guideline in determining the resistance parameters
