針對當前電力系統中變壓器保護由於勵磁涌流鑒別理論不完善而導致的誤動率相對較高的問題，論文在分析了變壓器勵磁涌流特性和有功損耗的基礎上，提出了用變壓器正序有功功率差動作為區別勵磁涌流和故障電流的判據，並以成熟的比率制動差流保護作為內外部故障判據的變壓器主保護。
