本文通過對茅盾社會主義現實主義理論主張的觀念構成及其內在矛盾的分析和對這一理論與20世紀中國文學主流意識形態之間復雜關系的梳理，就茅盾文學觀念的獨特價值和20世紀中國主流文學內部多重話語模式之間起伏消長的關系格局等問題進行了初步的探討。
