在導師及熱心業內人士的幫助下，調查行跡遍布深圳各區，也遠赴蘇州新加坡傢具工業園。 2002年9 - 12月，又通過對深圳市家具行業協會、中南林學院胡景初教授、南京林業大學許柏鳴副教授、張彬淵教授、深圳職業技術學院江敬艷博士、深圳市原政協副主席邵漢青女士、建築設計研究總院葉青院長、招商局物流集團丁克義先生及深圳市中小企業信用擔保中心、信息技術和金融單位的專家組綜合意見的調查和比較，形成了論文的初稿。
