本文結合我國公路勘察設計新技術研究的現狀，以工程數據庫技術和網路技術構建通用的數據介面，將各單項技術所採集到的信息以及這些單項技術所產生的中間結果、最終成果提供給其它技術所共享和引用，快速提供各單項技術應用過程中所需要的數據和各類模型，從二維設計提升為三維設計，由靜態經驗設計提升為動態優化設計，形成從公路規劃、勘察、設計的一體化技術，最終實現公路虛擬景觀實時漫遊，達到設計快速方便、方案比選有效可靠、設計效果審查直觀的目的。
