在佛教無量壽經中有說：西方極樂有風吹寶樹能演奏出無量樂曲，各色奇禽異鳥能唱出奇妙樂章，讓眾生聞之，得六根清凈，證無生法忍等等境界，如今這高等世界才有的現象已在娑婆世界示現。 -

飛鳥、清風、海浪，自然界的萬物，誰不在用美妙動聽的歌聲贊美造物主？ -
Have you ever taken time to listen to the song of the birds, the trees rustling in the wind or the music of the crickets
你曾否化時間側耳傾聽過鳥兒婉轉、風吹林稍或蟋蟀鳴唱嗎？ -
Finally, in summarizing the power of the sound and light as the ultimate source of liberation and enlightenment, jesus tells his disciples, i tell you truly, your ears were made not only to hear the words of men, the song of birds, and the music of falling rain, but they were also made to hear the holy stream of sound
最後，耶穌總結光與音的力量為解脫與開悟的究竟源頭，他對徒弟說：我實實在在地告訴你們，你的耳朵不是只用來聽人語鳥聲和雨滴落的樂音，還要用來傾聽神聖的音流。
