這些病人大部分都與威爾斯親王醫院的個案有關，有八位是醫護人員，即增加了八名患肺炎的是醫護人員；其他的增幅是在病人、家屬及曾到威爾斯親王醫院探訪病人的人士，這一方面增多了二十人染上肺炎。 -

至於痊癒出院的有兩位有；有五名已去世，其中三名是原本已染病，當中一名就是由越南轉介來港的那一位，另一名就是一名廣東省來港求醫的醫生，第三位是進入東區尤德夫人那打素醫院后把病菌傳播給七名醫護人員的那一位，我們現時的定義是這三位我們估計都是這種病毒引致死亡。
