層序對應于阿爾善組二段，為深色泥巖與砂礫巖不等厚互層，是本區的第一套烴源巖和儲集層，可以作為本區儲層。層序對應騰格爾組，此時凹陷擴張，沉積層底部具有區域性的沖刷面，巖性變化大，是較好的生油層。層序對應都紅木組一段，下部泥巖發育，單砂層較厚，是主要的生油層和儲層。
