從孔子《論語?子路》中「誦詩三百，授之以政」到宋代的朱熹集前人讀書經驗，將誦讀作為一種重要的學習方法，再到夏丐尊、葉聖陶兩先生大聲疾呼學校的國文教學應當恢復誦讀；誦讀的內涵也經歷了許多變化，從漢以後將它作為一個整體，到朱子的「熟讀精思」 ，再到今人對誦讀的詮釋，誦讀這一傳統的語文教學方法雖經滄桑變化卻歷久彌新。 -
