本課題結合陜西省交通廳「客車計算機輔助設計」重點課題研究，通過對我國客車製造企業和客運公司進行市場調研，針對中國客車企業的發展需求，結合國內外企業信息系統的設計應用情況，利用網路數據庫技術建立了客車製造企業產品和市場信息管理系統，實現了網路數據庫管理；並提出和建立了客車市場分析系統，利用sybase網路數據庫和powerbuilder軟體為平臺，設計了調查分析軟體，縮短了數據收集和處理的周期，為進行客車產品設計提供了市場依據，部分研究成果已在客車企業中進行使用，收到了良好的效果。 -
