歡迎清海無上師蒞美接受國際和平勛獎的歡迎大會於一九九三年十月二十五日下午六時半在檀香山威基基的喜來登大酒店sheraton waikiki hotel隆重舉行，該大會系由檀香山市長花士暨世界文化交流協會秘書長陳洪鋼主辦，並由檀香山花士市長代表美國政府頒贈國際和平獎及榮譽公民給來自福爾摩沙的清海無上師，並訂定十月二十五日為清海日，以表彰她對促進世界和平與民間友誼交流所作的貢獻。
