從固體顆粒加速期間清水與固體顆粒的速度變化、動量傳遞、相關質量等基本問題分析入手，研究了沉降性漿體在水平管道內流動時其固體顆粒在3種流動狀態下的水力坡度，提出了沉降性漿體在水平管道內流動的機理模型，進而用該模型對一些輸送條件下的沉降性漿體的水力坡度進行了計算。
