交際策略是學習者在對第二語言或外語掌握有限的情況下，為達到交際目的，彌補其語法或詞匯知識的缺乏而採用的方法（ paribakht1985 ， corder1983 ， faerch & kasper1983 ） ，從前人的研究中可以看出交際策略的運用一方面受到語言水平的影響（ tarone1973 ， eillis1983 ， bialystok1983 ） ） ，即語言水平的高低會影響策略選用的類型和效果，而另一方面，策略能力的培養和發展又可彌補語言水平的不足，即有助於語言水平的提高（ kasper1983 ， tarone1980 ，陳思箐1992 ） 。
