通過對國內外評估方法的跟蹤、比較，發現國外信用風險分析方法已經從主觀判斷分析方法和傳統的財務比率評分法轉向以多變量、依賴于資本市場理論和計算機信息科學的動態計量分析方法為主的趨勢發展。而目前我國銀行機構主要使用計算信貸風險度的方法進行信用風險評估，缺乏定量分析，衍生工具、表外資產的信用風險已及信用集中風險的評估尚屬空白，更沒有集多種技術於一體的動態量化的信用風險管理技術。
