The course content will include customer services skills, basic language skills, safe driving habits as well as taxi regulations. before introduction of this training course, the steering committee and transport department have produced a " workplace english and putonghua programme " for taxi drivers in november 2000 under the sponsorship of the workplace english campaign steering committee. the package which would enable taxi drivers to communicate with passengers in simple english and putonghua, was distributed to the taxi drivers free of charge
在上述全面培訓課程開辦之前，優質的士服務督導委員會及運輸署已於2000年11月，在職業英語運動督導委員會的部份贊助下，製作並免費向的士司機派發的士司機職業英語及普通話課程自學教材，為現職的士司機提供語言的培訓，教導他們基本語言技能，讓他們能以簡單的英語及普通話與乘客溝通。 -
The programme ended in the carnival with a singer mr. alex fong being invited to teach a stress - management exercise and sportsmen as life ambassadors. they shared their experiences and stories about how to be positive to face their lives. in the outside playground of the venue, game booths of stress reduction were set, volunteers for further positive life promotion were recruited and basic counseling and referral services were provided on that day
