The termination is an event about witches and sorcerers and has been connected to san miao in the l punishments, of the book of zhou, of the book of history. in the book of mountains and seas there are several mythological records about the termination. at the same time there are many records about doctors and medical herbs and more one about the supreme beings with half character of god and half character of human beings. they also can be connected to the termination. examining the places where those witches, sorcerers and supreme beings appeared, we can find that it is a widespread phenomenon that the termination of the liaison between celestial and human beings. tlius we can draw a conclusion : lt is doubtful that the book of history ' s records of the places where the termination happened. ln some orthodox books, the termination was written down as the central plains ' ruler ' s key measures against san miao ' s confusion between celestial and human beings. up to now san miao ' s history is not known very well but archaeology has discovered that it belongs to the southern culture which is distorted rather than be paid attention to in the traditional history which takes the central plains ' culture as legitimism
