首先，對工作區的區域地震地質環境進行了分析、研究、評價，確定了萊蕪市可能發生地震的范圍、潛在震源及其震級上限等。其次，根據對地震活動性的認識，確定了各潛在震源區的地震活動性參數及萊蕪市地震烈度和地震加速度衰減關系，在此基礎上用概率分析法對萊蕪市地震危險性進行了分析計算，得到了萊蕪市在三種不同概率水平下的地震烈度和基巖地震動強度。 -
